Roulette Rules
Our game of Roulette is governed by the following rules.
1. The Play:
The player begins by placing chips on the number spaces of the table layout
in any manner that is permitted by the rules. In so doing, the players are
placing their bets.
At the conclusion of the betting, the dealer starts the roulette wheel
spinning in a counter clockwise direction, and then flips the ball on to the
bowl's back track so that it travels clockwise. When the ball falls and comes
to rest between any two metal partitions of the roulette wheel, it marks the
winning number (including zero or double zero) and the winning colour. The
dealer immediately announces the winning number and its colour. A marker is
placed on the winning number. All losing bets are collected, not disturbing
the chips resting on winning spaces. The winning bets are paid with the
correct amount of chips due each winning bet. The signs 0 and 00 win for the
bank all bets except those placed on 0 and 00 and combinations that include 0 or 00.
